The Eye of the Needle is the catching tale of Lily Conemans, Dutch fashion designer and entrepreneur. Lily has had an adventurous life as designer in London, Utrecht, Helsinki, Dar es Salaam and New York. She grew up with James Hare as her father purchased woollens and worsteds from the company in the 1960s. Now as an internationally renowned designer, Lily continues to use James Hare sillks to make her couture creations.
