Diffusion Silk

James Hare's Diffusion Silk uses two-tone weaves to bring lustrous new dimensions to plain silks.

Inspired by ikat techniques, the Diffusion Silk collection is woven with a fusion of yarns in the weft.  The classic silk sheen is given new depth by the tonal contrasts and its smooth texture is highlighted by an occasional slub.
