A Sparkling Day of Fundraising at Newby Hall
We were delighted to host a wonderful event at the historic Newby Hall, bringing together friends, supporters and partners for a truly memorable day of creativity, conversation and fundraising.
In collaboration with Yorkshire Children’s Charity, Furnish and Fettle, and Boodles, the event celebrated two of our great passions — beautiful interiors and exquisite craftsmanship — all in support of a cause close to our hearts.
Eighty guests gathered amidst the stunning backdrop of Newby Hall’s gardens and interiors to enjoy an inspiring afternoon. A delicious three-course lunch was served with every detail thoughtfully considered — including beautifully dressed tables adorned with James Hare’s Orange Grove napkins, adding a personal and vibrant touch to each place setting.
A highlight of the day was an engaging and insightful Q&A session with our Managing Director, Saffron Hare and Eleanor Goddard, owner of Furnish and Fettle. Together, they shared their perspectives on interior design, luxury textiles and the journey of building creative businesses with heritage and heart. The conversation offered a rare glimpse behind the scenes — full of inspiration, practical insight and personal stories.
Guests were also treated to a sparkling display of Boodles’ exquisite diamond pieces — a dazzling complement to the day’s celebrations.
We were thrilled to raise over £10,000 in support of Yorkshire Children’s Charity — a testament to the generosity and spirit of everyone who joined us. The funds will help make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people across our region.
It was a day filled with warmth, generosity, and shared passion. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, to Newby Hall for providing such a breathtaking setting, and to Furnish and Fettle, Boodles, and Yorkshire Children’s Charity for helping to make the day so special.
