A Sparkling Day of Fundraising at Newby Hall
We were delighted to host a wonderful event at the historic Newby Hall, bringing together friends, supporters and partners for a truly memorable day of fundraising, creativity and conversation.
In collaboration with Yorkshire Children’s Charity, Furnish and Fettle and Boodles, the day celebrated two of our great passions — beautiful interiors and exquisite craftsmanship — while raising funds for a cause close to our hearts.
Eighty guests gathered to enjoy an inspiring day set against the stunning backdrop of Newby Hall’s gardens and interiors. Guests were treated to a delicious three-course lunch, where every detail was carefully considered, including beautifully presented tables adorned with James Hare’s Orange Grove napkins — a special touch that brought our fabric to life at every place setting.
A highlight of the afternoon was a lively and insightful Q&A session, where our Managing Director, Saffron Hare, joined Eleanor Goddard, owner of Furnish and Fettle, to discuss the worlds of interior design, luxury textiles and building creative businesses with heritage and heart. Their conversation offered a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes, full of inspiration, practical advice and personal stories.
Guests also had the opportunity to admire some of Boodles’ exquisite diamond pieces — a truly sparkling addition to the day.
The day was full of warmth, laughter, generosity and shared passion — made even more special by the collective support for Yorkshire Children’s Charity, whose work makes such a difference to the lives of young people across our region.
We were incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, to Newby Hall for providing such a stunning setting, and to Furnish and Fettle, Boodles and Yorkshire Children’s Charity for making the day possible.
